After GroundsFest: the Eco Clipper FM343 on tour

Following GroundsFest 2026, the Eco Clipper FM343 spent a week on the road, with demonstrations at golf courses, polo clubs and turfgrass farms. The front-mounted mower has a working width of 3.43 m and was tested across a wide range of sites and grass conditions.

Cut quality drew the most comment. At one polo club, the grounds team remarked that they had never seen a rotary mower leave such a clean finish. On several golf courses the EC-FM343 mowed the rough and semi-rough, and the response to the result was equally positive.

Deck in front, clear view of the work

The EC-FM343 is designed for compact tractors of around 50 hp, so no dedicated power unit is needed. The low power requirement also keeps fuel consumption down. With the deck mounted in front of the tractor, the driver has a clear view of the work. The grass is cut before the tractor tyres run over it.

Even clipping distribution, also in wet grass

Each deck section carries several small high-speed blades with individual electric drive. Clippings are spread evenly across the surface, also in wet grass. They do not fall out of the deck in clumps that smother the grass and need to be cleared afterwards. Mowing can therefore continue on schedule, with less dependence on dry weather. The electric blade drive also keeps noise levels low.

FM4 Sport demonstrations in October

In October, demonstrations continue with the Eco Clipper FM4 Sport. With a working width of 4.11 m, the EC-FM4 Sport is suited to somewhat larger tractors and higher area output.
